Night Cafe Study

Original Mixed Media – Sold
In this piece, I used Prismacolor alcohol markers and colored pencils to capture the electric contrast between a deep, blue night sky and the warm, glowing lights of the café below. The figures in the scene were drawn in ink, adding a spontaneous, lively touch to the composition.

This study was one of my favorites. It let me explore mood, light, and energy in a single frame, and I’m proud it found a good home with a collector who loved it as much as I did.

  • Night sky meets café glow in vivid marker and pencil
  • Ink-drawn characters pulse with life below the stars
  • One of my favorite studies — sold but never forgotten
